Coach Bob played minor league baseball for one season as a pitcher with the St. Louis Browns in 1949. He also played at Marietta College. Coach Bob was a teacher and principal for 25 years in the Alhambra Elementary District and he retired in 1985 and Coach Bob was a certified pitching instructor with the National Pitching Association.
